I stand upon this sphere of dust and clay
And watch the ancient constellations sway
The void is deep, a cold and blackened sea
But something there is beckoning to me
A point of light, a whisper in the dark
It carves its mark across the cosmic arc

No ground beneath my feet, no sky above!
Only the hunger, the unspoken love
For shattered suns and nebulae's embrace!
The endless, cold, and unforgiving space!

I've seen the birth of giants, red and pale
I've heard the dying scream of the supernova's wail
Black holes are spinning, silent, in the deep
