Slow, melodic doom metal ballad; male vocals in deep register over detuned, sustained guitars and roomy drums. Clean arpeggios in the intro bloom into thick, distorted chords on the downbeats, with a singing lead guitar echoing the vocal melody. Choruses widen with layered harmonies and long reverb tails, bass moves in slow counter-melodies. Bridge strips to clean guitar and voice, then returns to a crushing, drawn-out final chorus.
